The Wellness Center is a health clinic staffed by licensed counselors and a registered nurse who are dedicated to helping students feel their best. All enrolled students can receive free health care services. 

Our mission is to support and enhance the well-being and development of all students. 

We are located at Founder’s Hall on the Ground Floor. The Wellness Center is open 5 days a week (Mon-Fri).

Frequently Asked Questions about SEU's Health Services

After hours (after 4:30PM), contact Residence Life. Depending on the nature of the emergency, contact security – (973) 290-4090 or security@steu.edu and then 911. Security can take students to the hospital, but in the case of a medical emergency, an ambulance should be called.

  • MMR (Measles, Mump, Rubella): Walgreens minute clinic, CVS, urgent care, primary doctor
  • Hepatitis B: At the wellness center, walgreens minute clinic, urgent care, primary doctor
  • Meningitis: Walgreens minute clinic, urgent care, primary doctor
  • Tuberculosis Screening (PPD): Wellness center, walgreens minute clinic, urgent care, primary doctor
  • IGRA: Primary doctor must provide a prescription for this test/bloodwork

No! All your personal information is kept private and secure if you are over 18. The only circumstance where a counselor would share your information would be if you are in imminent harm to yourself, others, or property.

No! All counseling services are 100% free. This includes in-person and virtual services on the Uwill program. We do not require insurance or bill insurance to see you.

  • If you or someone you know is in imminent danger call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room (Morristown Hospital is closest to SEU)
  • 1 For non-life threatening concerns, please submit a CARE report through SEU's CARE reporting system. We will reach out.
